Daily life in the Tudor Times

Daily life in the sixteen century was not easy for everyone. There were many diseases, bad hygene conditions and therefore a low life expectancy. Women had to stay at home looking after the house and the children, while men went to work.

There was a great diference between rich and the poor people. Wealthy lords wore very expensive clothes made of fine wool, linen or silk decorated with jewels. They had several entertaiments such as hunting, playing tennis and bowls.

Meanwhile the poor did not had any rights at all and had to work very hard, some of them like slaves to survive.
Finally religion believes were very important in those days.

Weekend

I have really enjoyed this weekend. Firstly, we went to a quite interesting museum and shopping in a huge mall in the centre of London. We spent there the whole morning until four pm. I bought lots of things to my family and friends. On saturday night I went to the musical "We were rock you" and it was amazing. The decoration of the stage and the special effects were completely incredible. It lasted three long hours but it was worth it. On sunday we spent the whole day in the Thorpe Park. It was fun although we had to wait long queues to get into the atractions. We had lunch in the Burger king and came back to school at five pm.

Globe Theatre and the Tate Gallery

Yesterday we went to the Globe Theatre, the place where several Shakespeare plays were held years ago. We spent the whole morning visiting the theatre and the surroundings. I really enjoyed the historic decoration of the stage. We had lunch all together, and afterwards we went to the Tate Gallery. My favourite picture was " The three dancers" painted by the famous Picasso. At half past three we took the bus and came back to school.

Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie is my favourite film star. She is not only pretty and slender, she is also a very charitable person. She has become prominently involved in international charity projects, especially those involving refugees and poor people. Jolie have worked as a fashion model in several ocassions, but she has definitely stand out due to her actress skills. She got married with Brad Pitt five years ago and had formed a very large family.

Friday night

Last friday night the whole school did a performance. Our class and George's one did a Mickael Jackson dance, "Billy Jean" and we enjoyed a lot. Maggie taught us how to dance and finally we did it quite well. I laughed a lot with Belen while we were in stage. The show lasted three hours, and everyone participate in it.

The change of guard

Windsor Castle

Yesterday morning we went to visit Windsor Castle. We spent two hours there walking around the gardens and saw the change of the guard. We had lunch in the Mcdonalds and later we went shopping. I bought a wonderfull blue dress at Topshop. In the bus I was quite bored because everyone was sleeping because they were very tired. We arrived at school at half past five and had supper as usual.

Madrid

Madrid has several exciting places to visit. There are amazing museums and the most well known monuments such as "La Puerta de Alcala", "El estadio Bernabeu", "El museo Thysenn"... However, my favourite place is "El retiro".It is an enormous garden where everyone goes to spend their free time. You should defenetly visit madrid, yo will have a nice time!

Bowling

Today is rainny as all days.Yesterday night we went to the bowling and we had great fun!I went with some of my Spanish friends. We had supper at the burger king and we came back to school at eleven o'clok
